E-trike not bad

Just a few days I have read an article about th Dept. of Energy supporting the use of e-trike, or the electric powered tricycle. Thinking about how helpful this idea would be, it’s like taking a big leap, not just for technology but also a leap in maintaining the environment. For the past years this humans are trying to find ways of using alternate energy source in running vehicles that is cost efficient and environment friendly. Now that we are living in generation where technology progresses on a very fast pace. It is not impossible that alternate energy source will be acquired. For our country I'm really not that sure how this will be obtained but pointing out the benefits that we can get on this step is remarkably something that is life changing.
Point number one, the Philippines in southeast Asia is the only country that uses trike in large amount, it has been the source of income of so many tricycle drivers, and has been a daily part of a Filipino life. Its used as an easy transport for moms who go to a nearby market which may be blocks away only, or even service for the students who goes to school every day to fill up their bucket of knowledge. E-trike, although I haven’t seen it yet, is a concept which I think and believe will of a good use on our country, one it could be cheaper than that of the fuel, it will not produce fumes, smoke and pollution, another thing is the alternating process, in simple terms, if you are using a battery operated vehicle you can charge while you are using the vehicle.
Well, I’m just wondering what it will look like, what are the other uses of that. Also there maybe disadvantages like how long will a single full charge will last, maintenance of the battery, how much energy consumption will it cost. But overall, what matters is the benefits that this will give, we’ll see how this three wheel vehicle evolve and level up.
